Getting to Argentière

There are two main ways to get from Geneva Airport to the Chalet in Argentière. Taking the bus is an easy, comfortable, and scenic way to travel to Argentière, and we recommend it.

Take the Bus

Take a direct bus from Geneva Airport to Chamonix. These buses depart from the arrival level of the airport, just outside the main terminal building.
Tickets for this leg can be purchased online in advance (recommended) or at the airport bus ticket counters in the arrivals area.
Several companies operate this route, check this website for schedules and online booking.
Once you arrive at the Chamonix Sud Bus Station, transfer to a local Chamonix Valley bus heading toward Argentière. These buses run frequently and stop near the Chalet. You can buy tickets for this leg directly on the bus.

Rent a Car

Rent a car at Geneva Airport and drive one and a half hours directly to the Chalet in Argentière. There is plenty of parking along the road leading to the Chalet (marked in green on the map below)
