La Flégère (Wedding Day)

On our wedding day, we will set out directly from the chalet in Argentière and hike up the north side of the valley toward La Flégère. We have left plenty of time to cover the 3 miles up to La Flégère and will take it at a leisurely pace.

For those who prefer a gentler ascent, you can take the gondola from Les Praz to La Flégère.

Once we have the whole group assembled at the La Flégère gondola stop we will hike 0.3 miles to a little grassy meadow for the ceremony.

The ceremony will be short and sweet, everyone in their hiking clothes nothing fancy.

We will have a little sandwich picnic in the meadow after the ceremony (please fill out the sandwich order form here)

There are two options for getting back down to the chalet in Argentière.

1. You can hike back down the way that we came up.

2. You can take the gondola back down to Les Praz, and jump on the bus back to Argentière.
